First Foot Forward’s 2023 Pet Nat shines the colour of an outback sunset, with a gentle fizz that lifts vibrant aromas of cherry and blood orange. A fine prickle on the tongue accentuates flavours of ruby grapefruit, fruit tingles and sourdough — super fresh!

How was it made? Hand-picked Yarra Valley Shiraz was gently squished to release the juice, which fermented cool until almost all the grape sugars were converted to alcohol by our mates, the yeasts. With just a tiny bit of sugar remaining, the wine was bottled, and the yeasts finished the job inside — trapping the bubbles naturally. All this happened within one month of harvest!

Chill the bottle and take it to your next picnic. So fresh, so easy to drink, and so moreish.
